Keven Foley (Center), disaster supply project manager, Ready America provides a demonstration of an earthquake simulator to U.S. Navy Sailors, with the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton during the Emergency Preparedness Fair at the Naval Hospital, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Sept. 18, 2018. The simulator mocked the 6.7 magnitude earthquake that took place in Northridge, California Jan. 18, 1994. The fair consisted of presentations from local community volunteers & first responders, and was intended to highlight safety & health concerns people may face during a disaster.
