(Sept. 18, 2018) Fire Controlman 2nd Class Montre Srithongkum motivates recruits to quickly move into position and perform fire fighting and damage control techniques at the USS Chief as part of the hands-on training at Recruit Training Command (RTC). The curriculum at RTC tests recruits on their war-fighting skills before they reach the fleet. More than 30,000 recruits graduate annually from the Navy's only boot camp.
