Coast Guard Port Security Unit 313 former and current members socialize during the PSU’s 20th commissioning anniversary at Legion Hall in Everett, Wash., on Sept. 16, 2018.

The PSU maintains port security during wartime and peacetime, deploying to occupied foreign ports to conduct security operations as well as maintaining security for domestic ports as necessary.
