180914-N-PM193-317 SAN DIEGO (Sept. 14, 2018) Chief Aviation Ordnanceman Jefrey Rosario requests permission to join the Chiefs Mess from Command Master Chief Francisco Valdovinos during a chief pinning ceremony on the flight deck of amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4). The ceremony was the culmination of six weeks of training indoctrination during Sailor 360, phase II. Boxer is pierside in its homeport for contractor maintenance availability.
