Lance Cpl. Joseph L. Stearrett (right), a Tazewell, Tenn., native and a motorman team leader with India Company, raised his right hand recently to take the oath of enlistment for another four-year commitment in the Corps. Stearrett, who deployed to Afghanistan with 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, in 2010, returned to his former patrol base, known as the yellow schoolhouse, for his re-enlistment ceremony.
