Soldiers assigned to the 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division transport a simulated casualty during a joint spur ride conducted, Oct. 6. The soldiers’ spouses back at Fort Hood also took part in similar events that were staged by the brigade’s rear detachment personnel the same day. The spur ride consists of a series of tasks that are designed to test the physical and mental fortitude of an individual.
