180912-N-GX781-0089 CARIBBEAN SEA (Sept. 12, 2018) Sailors transport a simulated casualty during an emergency flight quarters drill aboard the Whidbey Island-Class Dock Landing Ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD 44) following the completion of UNITAS 2018. UNITAS is an annual international exercise in the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility where partner nations participate in multinational exchanges to enhance interoperability, increase regional stability, and build and maintain regional relationships with countries throughout the region through joint, multinational and interagency exchanges and cooperation.
