U.S. Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Desiree Dukes, Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, information systems technician, rakes an area at the Discover and Help Nature Refuge, Oct. 2. The area being cleared is slated to be turned into a lion habitat. Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa and Camp Lemonnier service members volunteered during their off-duty time to help with the project. The refuge houses cheetahs, ostriches, lynx, tortoises, gazelles and many other animals.
