U.S. Naval Reserve Sailors, Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Patrick Craft, left, and Jared Meyer with the Expeditionary Medical Facility Great Lakes One, based in Great Lakes, Illinois, learn how to create realistic looking wounds from Regional Training Site-Medical instructors, part Medical Readiness and Training Command, (MRTC) during Global Medic Combat Support Training Exercise 86-18-02, held at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, Aug. 4-24, 2018.
The training in moulage, the art of creating realistic wounds for training, helps to bring realism and depth to the training of medical professionals better preparing the Soldiers and Sailors participating in Global Medic for their bringing a more lethal force to the battlefield.
CSTX 86-18-02 is a Combat Support Training Exercise that ensures America’s Army Reserve units and Soldiers are trained and ready to deploy on short-notice and bring capable, combat-ready, and lethal capabilities in support of the Army and our joint partners anywhere in the world.
