180829-N-ND356-0086 PEARL HARBOR (Aug. 29, 2018) The USS Battleship Missouri Memorial is outfitted with bunting for the upcoming 73rd Anniversary of the End of World War II courtesy of USS Missouri Chief Petty Officer (CPO) Legacy Academy Class 019 members during their service project. The CPO Legacy Academy is a six-day course in which the chief petty officers and selectees live aboard The USS Battleship Missouri Memorial and participate in preservation activities, leadership training, reenact scenarios that took place aboard USS Missouri, and learn lessons about the history and heritage of the U.S. Navy and CPO community.
