An MQ-1 Predator sits on the flight line Feb. 2, 2018, at Creech Air Force Base, Nev. The Predator was an unforeseen close air support asset for ground forces during the Battle of Roberts Ridge. Aircrew relayed critical information and laser guided munitions during the fight while also providing key reconnaissance for senior leaders commanding the situation.
