U.S. Marine Cpl. Joseph Vainisi, a Combat Engineer with 3rd Combat Engineer Battalion, currently attached to Company A, 1st Battalion 7th Marines for exercise Valiant Mark 11 talks to fellow Combat Engineers from the Singapore armed forces about the use of their projected line charge at the Murai Urban Training Facility here Sept. 25 in Singapore. Exercise Valiant Mark, in its 10th iteration, is an annual exercise conducted by U.S. Marines and the Singapore armed forces in order to maintain a high level of interoperability, enhanced military to military relations and to enrich mutual combat capabilities through combined training.
