Staff Sgt. Abraham Rodriguez, a squad leader with A Company, 407th Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd Brigade of the 82nd Airborne Division, is awarded the Combat Action Badge from brigade commander, Col. Tim McAteer, at Al-Asad Air Base, Iraq, Sept. 30. Rodriguez earned the CAB for his actions during a roadside bomb attack on his armored vehicle while on a unit resupply mission. Rodriguez is a native of Bronx, N.Y.
