On Aug. 7, 2018, AGC Wesley Bell with Naval Oceanography Mine Warfare Center aboard NOAA’s National Response Team-1 in Gulf of Mexico deploying a sonar reflector with an attached defense system sonar pinger that will be surveyed to determine ground truth. This exercise is part of the Gulf Coast portion of Naval Undersea Warfare Center’s Advanced Naval Technology Exercise.
