The U.S. Navy expeditionary fast transport ship USNS Carson City (T-EPF-7) transits the Black Sea Aug. 15, 2018. Carson City is the seventh of nine expeditionary fast transport ships in Military Sealift Command's inventory with a primary mission of providing rapid transport of military equipment and personnel in theater via its 20,000 square foot reconfigurable mission bay area and seating for 312 passengers.
