    Female Engagement Team 12-1 members Lance Cpl. Austin Walswick, electrical systems technician, Sgt. Angela Arounerangsy, geographic intelligence specialist, and Cpl. Mallory Ortiz, ammunition specialist, perform radio checks during a period of instruction here Sept. 19. The 12-1 Female Engagement Team formed and met for the first time here Sept. 12 to begin training for its upcoming spring deployment to Afghanistan.
