U.S. Air Force Maj. Bryan Mathieson, a nurse practitioner assigned to the 181st Intelligence Wing, speaks to the woman whom he, U.S. Air Force Col. William Bray, Navy Cmdr. Jeffrey Loh and Air Force 2nd Lt. Brandon Wilmer provided medical assistance on Aug. 12, at the Mitchell Pauole Community Center in Molokai, Hi., Aug. 13, 2018. Tropic Care Maui County 2018 provides medical troops and support personnel “hands-on” readiness training to prepare for future deployments while providing direct and lasting benefits to the people of Maui, Molokai, and Lanai. Mathieson and the other servicemembers facilitated a higher level of care for the woman after she began to experience chest pain during a visions screening.
