Military personnel are operating an artillery piece, likely a howitzer, in a desert environment under camouflage netting. The weapon has just been fired, as evidenced by the visible smoke and dust blast emanating from the muzzle. Soldiers in desert camouflage uniforms and helmets are positioned around the artillery system.
