Amanda Elsenboss, a Woodbury, Connecticut native and marksman/instructor on the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit’s Service Rifle Team, fires from the sitting position during the 2018 Civilian Marksmanship Program’s National Trophy Individual Match July 30. Elsenboss earned the Women’s Rifle Trophy for her score of 494-21x in this match, which is part of the CMP National Rifle Matches at Camp Perry, Ohio. Elsenboss also claimed the High Woman-Mountain Man Trophy for her aggregate score in the President’s 100, National Trophy Individual and National Trophy Team matches with a score of 1279-46x.
