First Lt. Christopher Morrow, Red Platoon Leader, Bandit Troop, 6th Squadron, 9th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Advise and Assist Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division discusses the mission with Lt. Muhammad of the Iraqi army before they leave for the abandoned Iraqi firing point near Al Kut, Iraq, Sept. 5. ‘Saber’ soldiers discovered an old, abandoned, Iraqi Artillery firing point containing multiple artillery rounds and approximately 50 fuses, which were later disposed of by an explosive ordnance disposal team.
