CAMP TAJI, Iraq – A combat lifesaver trained soldier with the 321st Sustainment Brigade arrives to the mass casualty training site, July 26, to provide aid to Sgt. 1st Class Gwen Watkis, also a member of the 321st, who has two simulated leg injuries. The CLS soldiers had to give as realistic treatment to the casualties as possible and ensure all appropriate measures were met while working with other Coalition Force members to get the casualties evacuated and to complete their treatment at the hospital on base. The exercise tested the standard operating procedures in place for medical care, evacuation and quick reaction force response times in case of a real world emergency. (Photo by Staff Sgt. Charlotte Reavis, 143d Sustainment Command (Expeditionary))
