Navy Seabee Utilitiesman 3rd Class Justin Hendle, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1 maintains the feed horn and elements of the OE-254 omni-directional antenna as the communications platoon prepares to erect the antenna at the Naval Construction Battalion Center. NMCB-1 is preparing for their upcoming field exercise, "Operation DESERT HEAT," which will sharpen the battalion's combat and contingency construction capabilities.
