24th Marine Expeditionary Unit Marine connects a 20 amp cable with a receptacle box to a 5kw outdoor MEPDIS-R(mobile electric power distribution system-replacement) panel to provide power to 24th MEU forward command operation center during Command Post Exercise on Marine Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, July 25, 2018. Marines used the exercise to practice proficiency in establishing a functional command environment in adverse or field conditions rapidly, enabling a foundation for future exercises in which the MEU will be operating in preparation for their 2019 deployment.
