    Shortly after it was installed in 1932, cracks first appeared in the stone of the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery, Va. Norfolk District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has partnered with the cemetery and other agencies to preserve the tomb by repairing the cracks.
