Nelle Linz, an interventional cardiologist and Chest Pain Center director, center, uses the live X-ray picture on a monitor to guide the catheter through the patient’s heart and arteries. The Cardiac Catheterization Lab staff cares for patients during planned procedures, but also provides care for heart attack patient who present to NMCP’s emergency room around the clock and are required to be at the facility within 30 minutes of activation of heart attack protocols.
