U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Brandon Tyler, a Freemont, Ohio, native carries the blast resistant shield after conducting a live demolition breeching exercise aboard Fort Pickett, Va., Sept. 18, 2011. The Marines used detonation cord along with C-4 explosives to conduct various breeching methods. More than 900 Marines and sailors will take part in the Deployment for Training exercise at Fort Pickett, Sept. 6-23.
