Brig. Gen. Vincent Brooks (center), Multi-National Division-Baghdad's deputy commanding general (support) receives a briefing from Dean Wooden (left), team leader, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division's Embedded Provincial Reconstruction Team (EPRT), and Austin, Texas native Lt. Col. Peter Andrysiak, the brigade's deputy commanding officer, on Camp Taji, Iraq June 2. The briefing explained the types of projects and progress that the EPRT is having within the 1st BCT area of operations as it works with Iraqis and the Iraqi government on many different reconstruction issues from agriculture to economics to essential services and improving governance as well as many other areas.
