Marco Martinez, assigned to Combat Assault Company, 3rd Marine Regiment, from Austin, Texas, sits in the troop compartment of an assault amphibious vehicle while transiting to Kona, Hawaii, to pick up troops completing exercises at Pohakuloa Training Area during the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) exercise, July 22.
