Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California – Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 11, 1st Marine Logistics Group, construct a signal flag aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., July 17. The Marines erect a signal flag during their Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluation. Marines use the MCCRE to test units on a myriad of tasks in which the unit should be proficient in, oftentimes shortly before becoming part of a larger unit, such as a Marine Expeditionary Unit.
