U.S. Army Spc. Jason Harris, a Cavalry scout with the 5th Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, reads Dr. Seuss’ famous book "Green Eggs and Ham" to his son, Brayden, during a United through Reading session at Kandahar Airfield Sept. 9. Harris is currently serving in Afghanistan as a part of a yearlong deployment from Fort Wainwright, Alaska. The Alabama native likes to spend his rare free time reading to his son on one of the many USO sponsored UTR programs.
