180719-N-BY095-0002 ATLANTIC OCEAN (July 19, 2018) The Scan Eagle unmanned aerial vehicle sits on the flight deck aboard the Expeditionary Fast Transport Vessel USNS Spearhead (T-EPF 1). Spearhead is at sea preparing to support Southern Partnership Station. Southern Partnership Station is a U.S. Southern Command-sponsored and U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet-conducted annual deployment focused on subject matter expert exchanges and building partner capacity in a variety of disciplines including medicine, construction and dive operations in the Caribbean, Central and South America.
