A rigid inflatable boat (RIB) operated by personnel in military and civilian attire is recovering or deploying an unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) labeled 'SSC Pacific'. The torpedo-shaped autonomous underwater vehicle is being lifted from the water using a mechanical launch and recovery system mounted on the vessel. This appears to be a naval research or testing operation conducted in open coastal waters.
