A United States Air Force instructor and a translator assigned to the 770th Air Expeditionary Advisory Squadron teach a classroom of Iraqi civil engineers at Camp Taji, Iraq, July 11, 2018. The Coalition Aviation Advisory and Training Team in partnership with the Office of Security Cooperation-Iraq, provides training, advising and assistance in addition to building partner capacity for Iraqi Army Aviation Command, Iraqi Air Defense Command and the Iraqi Air Force. The Iraqi Air Enterprise will ultimately provide Iraq with the self-sufficient air capabilities required by a sovereign nation to protect its borders and defeat internal threats.
