361st Training Squadron aircraft metals technology apprentice course students use four jaw chucks to create and refine aircraft parts out of aluminum at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, July 18, 2018. Althought the aircraft parts will only be used in training, they are taught in 68 training days how to precisely cut, resize, smooth, etc. these metals so when the students go to their first base they will know the basics and there they will learn more to eventually their parts will be used in actual aircraft.
