Dr. Piotr Bojakowski briefs French and U.S. dive teams on a lost P-47 Thunderbolt aircraft that has been missing since World War II, near the French island of Corsica, June 27, 2018. Bojakowski is part of a U.S. team of nine members from the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) that is working with the French Navy to recover the remains of a lost pilot whose crash site was recently found by local divers. The mission of DPAA is to provide the fullest possible accounting for our missing personnel to their families and the nation. (DoD photo by Bill Dasher)
