Third Army/ ARCENT soldiers stand shoulder-to-shoulder with 20th Fighter Wing airmen in a formation at a 9/11 Memorial Ceremony held at Memorial Lake Park, Sept. 9. The formation signified the continued military support and involvement in the War on Terror since the attacks a decade ago. “Today we gather in memory of the lives lost almost 10 years ago on Sept. 11,” said 9th Air Force Commander, Maj. Gen. Stephen Hoog. “We also honor you, the men and women of our armed forces who reaffirm that the legacy is a stronger, safer and more resilient America.”
