Cpl. Lorenzo Ruiz (right) and Sgt. Shatia Felder salute each and every American flag raised on Sept. 11, commemorating the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Ruiz and Shatia flew 425 flags for troops who submitted requests for signed certificates by Commanding General Maj. Gen. John A. Toolan of certified flown flag in recognition of 9/11. Ruiz a native of Milwaukee and Felder a native of Decatur, Ga., are both radio operators for Regional Command Southwest, Helmand province.
