Army Spc. Robert Allen, an explosive ordnance disposal team member assigned to the 430th Ordnance Company (Explosive Ordnance Disposal), North Carolina National Guard, U.S. Forces - Afghanistan, prepares to transport a simulated casualty at a stress-shoot event during Task Force EOD's Best Warrior competition while being evaluated by Staff Sgt. Blake H. Alexander and Staff Sgt. Dominique L. Smith, 501st Ordnance Battalion, New York National Guard. The competition, held at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, July 7, also included a fitness test, 8-mile ruck march and leadership board, which aimed at measuring the strength, endurance, competitiveness and professionalism of each Soldier.
