180627-N-PM193-0078 PEARL HARBOR (June 27, 2018) Gas Turbine Systems Technician (Mechanical) 3rd Class Kevin Hamilton, assigned to guided-missile destroyer USS Sterett (DDG 104), hits a softball during a game against Japan Maritime Defense Force sailors during Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) Exercise 2018. Twenty-five nations, more than 45 ships and submarines, approximately 200 aircraft, and 25,000 personnel are participating in RIMPAC in and around the Hawaiian Islands and Southern California.
