TEL AVIV, Israel – Two soldiers from the 19th CBRN Enhanced Response Force Package use hand cranked mechanical jacks to stabilize a slab of stone in order to rescue a simulated casualty during the final exercise of United Front VII at Zikim Training Base June 20, 2018. Due to the risk of crushing injuries, rescuers have to be cautious when removing debris from victims to prevent causing further injury.
