PENSACOLA, Fla. (June 27, 2018) Mass Communication Specialist 1st Class Amanda Moreno, with the Navy Office of Community Outreach (NAVCO), conducts a Media Production Visit as part of the Navy's American Connections Media Outreach Program. The NAVCO team interviewed photographed and produced feature stories highlighting Information Warfare Training Command Corry Station Sailors and staff. The program leverages Sailors' local connections to communities across America as well as the relationships that exist between Navy units and their namesake cities and states, to ensure Americans throughout the country better understand their Navy, its mission and its contribution to national security. An additional benefit of the program is the positive impact on the morale of participating Sailors and namesake units. (U.S. Navy photo by Glenn Sircy/Released)
