Turret #1 on-board the USS Wisconsin, BB-64, served as a backdrop for a re-enlistment ceremony. Petty Officer 3rd Class Sidney Tamez, an Aviation Support Technician with the Norfolk AMC Terminal, chose to re-enlist on-board the iconic ship. The Wisconsin is an Iowa-Class Battleship that is moored permanently as a museum ship next to the Hampton Roads Naval Museum and Nauticus, in Norfolk, Virginia's vibrant Waterside District. Area commands are able to have re-enlistments, retirements, promotions and military ceremonies on board the iconic USS Wisconsin by contacting the Special Events Coordinator at the Hampton Roads Naval Museum.
