San Juan, Puerto Rico, June 6, 2018 - Contractors participate in the Puerto Rico Department of Education Assessment Project launch. FEMA and the Government of Puerto Rico are launching a comprehensive project to assess damages caused by Hurricane María to 1,100 schools on the Island. The schools will be inspected by teams comprised of FEMA personnel and contractors of the Government of Puerto Rico, and will be conducted in three phases based on the priority determined by the Puerto Rico Department of Education.
