Texas National Guard pilots from Austin and San Antonio aviation units approach their Black Hawk helicopters in preparation of taking off from Laredo, Texas, June 21, 2018. In order to avoid flying through dangerous weather, pilots chose to move their readiness location from Laredo to San Antonio while remaining on-call to rescue flood victims in the Rio Grande Valley area.
