Soldiers from the Fort Carson and 4th Infantry Division Mounted Color Guard carry the colors down Bennett Avenue followed by the division band during the 87th Annual Donkey Derby Days parade in Cripple Creek, Colorado, June 23, 2018. The band and color guard take part in events such as this as a way of supporting and being good neighbors within the local community. Live music entertained the crowds early Saturday, just ahead of Bennett Avenue being turned into a race track for specially-trained donkeys. Donkey Derby Days celebrates the local Colorado history while providing events, food, crafts, contests and donkey rides for attendees. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Micah Merrill)
