BANGOR, Wash. (June 21, 2018) Sailors assigned to the Gold crew of the Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine USS Nebraska (SSBN 739) practice driving a simulated submarine in the ship's control trainer at Trident Training Facility Bangor. Nebraska is one of eight ballistic missile submarines stationed at Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor and recently completed a major maintenance period, including an engineered refueling overhaul, to extend the life of the submarine.
