Spc. Bobby Sherrod, cable systems installer-maintainer, 230th Signal Company, Tennessee National Guard and Erin, Tenn., native, pulls his battle buddy out of a Mine Resistant Ambush Protected simulator as part of the MRAP Egress Trainer course held here. After the MRAP rolled over, Sherrod was able to escape, and then helped his fellow comrades out as the group collected their weapons, checked on each other’s health and established a security parameter around the fallen vehicle. Third Army/ARCENT is inspiring and educating the future of its troops by giving them the tools needed to egress from a rolled-over vehicle and have the wherewithal to proceed with the mission.
