Paul Pearigen, commander, Navy Medicine West, and chief of the Navy Medical Corps, with a 40mm saluting round from the historic ship during Navy Week Chattanooga. Pearigen stopped by a local Boys and Girls Club where Constitution Sailors were sharing Navy history with area children. Navy Weeks aim to connect communities across America with Navy programs, personnel, and equipment to create awareness of the Navy’s mission to protect and defend America and its interests worldwide.
