On the first floor corridor of the 2nd Infantry Division Sustainment "Champion" Brigade headquarters, 17 boots of teal color are displayed. These eye-catching boots are on display during April which is Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention month. The main purpose of this display is to inform Soldiers that sexual assault is possible and can happen at anytime and anyplace. Each pair of these boots represents a Soldier who was a victim of sexual assault in 2ID SBDE in fiscal year 2017 Teal was chosen as it is the official color of the U.S. Army's Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention program.
