Soldiers with the 270th Military Police Company, 185th Military Police Battalion, 49th Military Police Brigade, California Army National Guard, pour out of the gas chamber at Camp San Luis Obispo, Calif., following an exercise where they proved they understood how to use a gas mask properly, and then took it off to understand the importance of the mask. It is a required training for soldiers to have, so that in the event of a chemical attack, they will be prepared and knowledgeable on how to use gas masks and the correct protocol.
